Durham Young Carer's Strategy
The aim of Durham Young Carers Strategy is to outline County Durham’s intentions to support young carers. In doing this it will detail the relevant national research relating to carers, identify current provision to support young carers, identify gaps in provision and set out an ambitious and proactive approach to supporting our young carers in County Durham.

Initial Response
Initial Response is a service that provides an initial point of contact where there are concerns or worries about a child, young person, or their family - including where there may be safeguarding concerns.
Sibs - For Brothers and Sisters of Disabled Children and Adults
Sibs is the UK charity for people who grow up with a disabled brother or sister. SIBS support siblings who are growing up with, or who have grown up with, a brother or sister with any disability, long-term chronic illness, or life limiting condition.
